Funded in 2008, International Treatment Prepardness Coalition West-Africa (ITPC WEST AFRICA), is part of one of the 6 regional networks of the International Treatment Preparedness Coalition processing (ITPC)
ITPC West Africa is a regional coalition of actors and activists involved in the fight against HIV. In addition to its presence in Côte d'Ivoire, ITPC-WA covers the region of West and Central Africa and works for universal access to care, treatment and all forms of support for vulnerable people and affected from the point of view of their health through an approach to improving integrated health services for the populations.
ITPC-WA Intervenes in the following key areas:
►The development of community monitoring mechanisms for universal access to health services and human rights in general
►The development of citizen monitoring instruments to increase the accountability of actors from all sectors of society
►Resource mobilization
►Capacity building of civil society organizations
►Advocacy for optimal access to health services and human rights
►Community research
